Once again New Blue Foundation collaborates with the Art Therapy expertise of Kate Lacour, AT-BC, and exciting contemporary artist Devin "Cypher" Dennis for an enriching and educational morning.
Brushes Without Boundaries is free to the public, but registration is limited to twelve families to ensure every participant has a truly immersive immersive experience!
Registered families are also invited to an Art Chat with the museum's Curator of Education about a special piece in NOMA's collection! Participants will also be provided day passes to spend some time enjoying all of NOMA after the morning Brushes Without Boundaries.

The New Blue Foundation and Lakeside Microsoft Store partner in a new series of “Social Saturdays,” providing sensory-friendly digital art, coding, and gaming experiences specifically for Autistic children and adults.

A Sensory Friendly Family Morning and Art Therapy Experience
at Ace Hotel, New Orleans.
Presented by the Ashley Longshore Charitable Trust and Microsoft.
The Brushes Without Boundaries art therapy series, sponsored by the Ashley Longshore Charitable Trust, pairs exciting contemporary artists Devin “Cypher” Dennis with the art therapy expertise of Kate Lacour (founder of STOMP Troopers) to create memorable and therapeutic weekend experiences resulting in original artworks by the guest artists and attendees. Brushes Without Boundaries also partners with Microsoft, adding a high-tech digital art component and original artwork that participants can print and take home.

The inaugural Rhapsody in Blue at Preservation Hall
A Sensory Friendly Family Day and Music Therapy Experience at Preservation Hall.
From 9:30 a.m. - noon on Saturday, November 16th, 2019, participants will enjoy a sensory-friendly morning. The morning features New Blue Foundation’s Rhapsody in Blue program, providing music therapy experiences and Preservation Hall Foundation’s Sensory Friendly Family Day program, providing high quality music performances in a sensory friendly environment.
Participants will engage in a music therapy experience lead by Meredith Sharpe, as well as engage in an Instrument Petting Zoo and concert by the Preservation Hall All-Stars.
The event is free with advance registration, but space is limited to 40 guests total so that families can enjoy a crowd-free space.
