Serving the Greater New Orleans Autism Community

Purpose

The New Blue Foundation was created in 2019 to provide a sustained advocacy and fundraising entity specifically for the autism community in the Greater New Orleans area.

“New Blue” endeavors to bring needed and consistent programming and services to area families impacted by autism, as well as reinforcing proven initiatives capable of increasing qualified service providers to the area.

Programs

Rhapsody in Blue, in partnership with New Orleans' Preservation Hall Foundation. Sensory-friendly musical experiences for the Autism community.

Brushes Without Boundaries, sponsored by the Ashley Longshore Charitable Trust, presented with artists Devin "Cypher" Dennis and Gavin Jones, and digital art partner Microsoft. These art experiences are designed with the ASD community in mind!

The New Blue Public Schools Initiative in partnership with Schaumberg Elementary, to be piloted in the 2020-2021 school year.
